The on-track action is well and truly underway in the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship. The three free practice sessions are complete, and Porsche and Cadillac have been setting the pace in Hypercar.
Porsche topped both of Thursday sessions, with Kévin Estre becoming the first driver to dip under the 1:40 mark. The Frenchman posted a 1:39.990 in FP2 in the #6 Porsche Penske Motorsport Porsche 963.
Peugeot and Ferrari also performed well on Thursday, finishing second-quickest in FP1 and FP2 respectively. Quickest in FP3 was the #2 Cadillac with a session best of 1:40.667.
Fastest times in the LMGT3 category were shared between the #55 Vista AF Corse Ferrari, the ##95 United Autosports McLaren and the #27 Heart of Racing Aston Martin.
