Scrutineering began on Sunday with the first half of the Le Mans field undergoing the required technical checks and approvals in front of packed crowds in the centre of Le Mans. Monday saw the remainder of the cars and drivers pass through the various scrutineering tents. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t too kind and the event was dampened by heavy rain.
