Last October WEC-Magazin celebrated its third anniversary. Over those three years, the WEC-Magazin team has kept abreast with the latest news from the WEC and provided comprehensive race reports and analysis. Unfortunately left little time to work on improving the site’s design and functionality – but all that has now changed!
We are back from our winter break just in time for the launch of the 2017 FIA WEC season! WEC-Magazin.com and WEC-Magazin.de now offer all the usual high-quality content, but with a fresher and clearer design. The brand-new home page is a hub for all the latest news from the series, as well as information on the next race, current standings and much more besides. We have also completely revised our Standings section to include comprehensive results from each race, as well as the addition of past championship tables.
In terms of content we have pressed the “reset” button and revised our fan-centric collection of features and articles on the WEC. Three new menu items offer all the information you need about the WEC. In the Features section, you will find a regular supply of “long reads” focusing on the FIA WEC and the men and women involved. There’s also a guide for fans who are new to the championship, answering questions that long-time fans may take for granted. The Inside WEC section is the first port of call if you are looking for data and information about the current season, including lists of participants, details on sporting regulations and information on the class structure. The History section takes a look back at the WEC’s development since its inception in 2012, with a directory of championship-winning drivers, manufacturers and cars over the years.
Make sure you check back on a regular basis: Not only will we be offering a steady stream of the latest WEC news, we will also be adding new content and visual elements to the website moving forward.
